1967 Headliner Bows

We are restoring a 1967 Mustang Coupe. There is 4 headliner bows but we are about positive they are ordered wrong. What is the correct order they go in?

The Mustang headliner bows are not the same as the Cougar. I just recently ran into this here helping a friend redo a 68 Mustang coupe. The Cougar bows did not line up at all with the Mustang inner roof. Since the Mustang and the Cougar were built on the same assembly line my guess would be that the headliner bows have different color coding between a Mustang and a Cougar so that the line workers would know which one they needed.

Randy is correct. I want to add there are two bows which are the same; they are the center two. The rear one is longer and has two supports that go in slots to the rear of the bow. Generally there will be two holes drilled for each bow. The top set is the set I always use. If you don’t use the rear supports the headliner will fail.
