1967 Steering Wheel Question

I have been hunting a steering wheel replacement. Mine is cracked and am fine with some of the Volant or whatever aftermarket wheels with the cougar emblem. In my search I found LOTS of sellers selling a “1967 Cougar/1967 Mustang” Steering wheel. The OEM looking three spoke type you see in Cougars and Stangs. I bought one. Figured I could just mount my original padded chrome three spoke and center upholstry to it. Nope. It is similar, but the “spokes” are a slightly different angle, and not “indented” long enough to accept the lenght of the cougar center spoked part even so. I had to argue the point and show pictures to get the seller to pay the shipping back. They were good about though. If interested, Jegs has it listed, as does Autopro USA, both say it fits the cougar. VSW ST3035BLK: 1967 Ford / Mercury OE Series Reproduction Black Steering Wheel - JEGS Even VSW has it listed as fitting the Cougar. If someone here can look at the wheel and compare it to an original 67 Wheel looking closely at the part where the spoke meets the wheel, I would appreciate it!!

It’s a 1967 Mustang wheel. It does fit a Cougar but you have to use the 1967 Mustang horn and pad assembly.

Yes, I got that. I am just surprised they advertise it for a Cougar when it is not. Thanks!
