1967 XR7 GT 390 S Code Cougar / C6 - $12,400

This 1967 Cougar was the biggest cat on the block. Only 2.7K out of 151K Cougars produced were an XR7 GT. This is most likely a 1 of 1 car. Absolute rare gem but no more time to restore. Planning on starting a family soon and focusing on other projects.

Cool car, nice color combo.

Thanks Chris! Cinnamon Twist is a really nice car. Sad to see the car but that’s life! Priorities!

Hopefully someone will finish this one. Really cool well optioned car.

It looks like it would make a great project for someone. Just an FYI though the front seats are not the correct 67 XR-7 seats.

Morning Randy!

Thanks for the comments. You know what, I never noticed that until now. You are correct. These are probably Mustang bucket seats. What someone could do is just sell these and buy Cougar correct ones. Maybe immaterial in cost if looking to do a swap.

Thanks again for the feedback. Really do appreciate it.

Cheers.
Cristian

You’re welcome Cristian. They do kind of look like Mustang seats with that piece of chrome on the side. Good luck with the sale. It should make someone a very nice project. As a side note if you, or the new owner, would like a pair of original 67 XR-7 seats I just pulled a pair from a parts car.

Hi Cristian,
I live just down the road from you in Kennewick. I’m out of town but will contact you to come look at the car when I return. Your car looks like what I’ve been wanting in a Cougar to rebuild. Talk to you soon.
