1968 Cougar front fender 6.5 emblem

How do you find info for exact location to mount these emblems back on front 1968 fenders? XR-7 390 X-Code car.

Here’s where mine are referenced to the fender. Car was painted about 20 years ago. I can only assume these are in the correct spot. Maybe someone could find a drawing or confirm from an unrestored vehicle. Sorry for the orientation. Photos are from my phone.

Thanks for reply and measurements. Would be nice if a template exists for 4 pin location of holes to be drilled.

Checked my body assembly manual and it says refer to drawing C8WB-16015-6 for hole location and size but has no copy of the drawing.
