1968 Cougar GT 428 Cobra Jet 4 speed car Original R code. See the attached Marty Report. Car is 1 of 48 making it very rare.
Called on Ad. Not original motor has SCJ. 2nd time listed. Raced so original motor long gone. Not sure what it’s worth. Body and interior there and clean. He talked about 428 GT-E 4 speed that was auctioned 6 years ago. Think that number is were he shooting for .What do you guys think?

His car is a stripper ordered with a 428CJ / 4 speed. Very different from a 428CJ XR-7 4 speed GT-E that was numbers matching and mostly original with fabulous original leather interior.
I think his car needs to be looked at in person if he wants to sell it. No idea what it’s worth until we know if it is rusty.

Cool car. I seem to remember him wanting in the the $60’s for it
I think anything that rare and if you’re about to spend big dollars on it definitely needs to be looked at in person and gone throughly over… this will show the seller you’re serious and hopefully a deal can be worked out
