Thanks guys!
Thanks Rickeyracer!
Like Royce mentioned pick up the manuals. Particularly the assembly manuals which will help a ton. I was in the same boat with my car disassembled by someone else and those manuals have been a lifesaver on getting it back together correctly
Thanks guys!
I got the rear axle all painted up and mostly assembled. I am ready for the pinion seal. I have talked to a few techs and I am getting different answers about torquing the pinion nut. Some say you can’t do on the ground, while others say that I need to mount back in the car. What are your thoughts?
Hey guys, installed my backup lights this weekend and discovered that wire grommet won’t reach the hole in my trunk drop downs. I had new drop downs installed and not sure if the holes are incorrectly drilled or what. Anybody else had this problem?
Can you just slide the grommet over some?
I installed the Scott Drake reverse light kit. Stock hole positions. Everything seemed the correct length but the grommets were super hard to seat completely.
Gangster, I tried sliding it down and it seemed like it molded in place. I’ll check it again and see if it will slide.
Thanks
Gaugster, I tried sliding from underneath and couldn’t get it to move. I’ll pull one lamp back out so I can get a good grip on it and try it again.
i love the color, Let the rebuilding process begin !
