I added it. Thank you for the heads up.
Still not seeing the price.
The Hagerty pricing is listed…
That’s not good enough?
No we need your price not Haggerty’s.
Done
No traction, maybe I need to up my game on presentation. To all of you who own cougars. What would all consider a fair price? Thanks
I would suggest that you add more information about the car. I looked at your photos and videos. I can see that the car has A/C, tilt away steering and probably power disc brakes. What I also can see is that the car appears to have been repainted, the front seats have covers suggesting that the original covers need replaced, the rear seat has a cover over the top part of it again suggesting that it needs recovered, the radio appears to be aftermarket, the headlight grilles appear to be 1967 ones, although your video goes over them so fast that it is a bit hard to say for sure on that item. There are no front seat shoulder belts, although that could be factory.
I would suggest that you add information like the VIN number. Post a photo of the door data plate. Add a list of the options that the car has. Tell us what is original and what has been replaced. What is the current mileage. How does it run. Is it street legal. Do you know any of the history of the car. How long have you owned it. In general if you want to sell the car then you need to tell a potential buyer what they are getting.

Randy is correct. Pictures alone wont sell your cougar, a honest detailed description of the car and any additional information you have or have learned while owning the car is a huge help as well. “Original” means different things to alot of people so the more details you give the better success you will have in gaining interest.
To Randy, you can do a full screen presentation of his videos. It does have a 68 Grill. I thiink the Disc Brake ring is missing from the pedal.
Scodecougar,
Don’t expect a fast sale, make a video of the interior with all the covers removed. Find a place where you can put it up on a lift and do one of the underside. The under hood is a bit dirty, but for many may not be a deal braker. pictures of the inside of the trunk are nice
I think the reason Randy, and I think it has been repainted is the fender bolts in the engine compartment are painted body color. They should not be painted.
But remember, most of us here have our Cougars and may not be looking for another one. Getting a good presentation (Pictures, description and history) and using sites like Bring a trailer, Hemings, eBay and Facebook Market place to list it are things to think about. (I don’t like eBay or Market Place much) There are a few other places to list it for sale. Maybe others here can help.
I myself like your Cougar. I like the no vinyl top look. But I have 2 Cougars and no cans to play with. Good luck.
I did view on a full screen. This time I was able to freeze the video when the grille area was on screen. I still say that the grilles are 67s. They have the cutout area at the top center where they attach to the center support. I would agree that it looks like the emblem is missing from the brake pedal, it is just something that the seller needs to clarify. One of the things that I noticed on the paint is the pinstripes. They go right up to the very edge of each body panel and straight across the extension to body joints.

The grilles could be original. The '67 style grilles were used for maybe the first six weeks of 1968 production before they were replaced. We don’t know what the VIN number is but the knee pad on the dash was done away with in January 1968 so it is early - we just don’t know how early.
The pinstripes are obviously incorrect.
Fellow Cougar owners, thank you for all the feedback. It’s spot on! I like the engagement. Yes, I’ll get more detailed and better pictures and videos. To start, here is the Elite Marti report. Again, thanks for all the input; I greatly appreciate it.
It’s a bad picture I took. I rotated it, but it still uploads sideways. I’m sure you could download it and rotate if you’d like. I’ll try again and hopefully upload a “normal” view.
Thanks
