1968 cougar xr7 AZ barn find

This 1968 Mercury Cougar XR-7 is a true and solid Arizona car. It still has the original black exterior paint. The white vinyl top has been removed and will need to be replaced. The car has power brakes, power steering, and is an AC car. The original motor and transmission were pulled. I do have a c4 transmission that goes with car. The car comes with AC compressor, alternator brackets, and ac brackets. I also have a drive shaft with car. This Cougar originally came with a 302 4-barrel engine… It was originally manufactured in San Jose, California and then shipped to a dealer in Los Angeles. The odometer read 59,000.

Having that vinyl top removed makes me think how sexy that car could have looked with mint black paint and a top that matched the steering wheel center section and dash face.

At least my opinion.

Still available???
