I have the original rebuild engine and transmission to my 1968 cougar but they aren’t in the car yet. I also need to weld the new floor panes in the car. Should I wait to put the engine in until after we weld so nothing happens to the transmission or would it not matter?
I would wait. But I don’t think it would hurt it any.
