For anyone else who may be as ignorant as I (I did not know exactly what the GT option entailed): per AI:

Key advertised equipment in the 1968 GT package cougarclub.org+1:

Never realized you could get a Big Block 2bbl as an option in the Cougar lineup in 68. CRAZY :zany_face:

That’s interesting too. It does look like this one just has a “GT” badge on the front fender.

No probs - I noticed that the AI linked to old, defunct CCOA webpages.

AI is fun, very powerful and here to stay obviously. If it doesn’t decide to kill us (chuckles nervously) it will be an incredible tool.

But it creates nothing new. It goes out and grabs stuff already created by people - without their permission I might add. So, if it grabs wrong information then it spits that out.

Another thing that jumped out is the summary where it says “most powerful and track-oriented Cougar option of its era”.

If you got a GT with a 428 Cobra Jet (an engine option I don’t see that AI mentioned?) and as PacificaXR7GT pointed out - GTs got GT badges. 6.5 Liter means either a 390 4v or 2v without the GT option.

Cougars are very confusing.

Not to go too far out on a tangent, I watched a reel the other day discussing AI spew, and the fact that it only repeats what has been previously divulged; BUT - the scary part is that it develops a sentiment (if I can suggest that of a non-sentient entity) based on the results it’s gleaned. So if the consensus of the data pulled has a liberal mindset, then it will give the answers that are sensitive to that viewpoint and censor opposing thoughts. Now that’s a little more frightening…

One way I have found to confuse the AI bots, when it asks a stupid question answer with a question.

In the reel I had mentioned that’s what the guy did; he asked AI why they avoided the alternate answer and AI exposed “its” platform bias.
