351 W with 4bbl, standard vert. Drums all around, PS/PB/8 track. Few other options. Cheap paint job with paint over even the data plate. Paint bubbling and very concerning pic 188 where the structure is rusted through and looks like someone sprayed black foam and squared it off. Would not buy this car with out a thorough in person inspection. And⌠Larry who?

This was up for sale locally on Facebook marketplace for quite some time. I want to say they were asking high 20âs or low 30âs. Will be curious to see how the bidding goes!
So done with BAT. Used to think highly of it. Asked to come and see car, stalling on sellers end. Actually told me to read his response but never answered the question why no one could came and see the car.
When I pointed out his bullsh*t BAT took down my comments! I reposted and they were immediately taken downâŚof course that seller had sold a lot of cars thru BAT, no surprise there!

I looked at the photos. A lot of bondo in that car. Lower 1/4s are full of mud and looks like some frame and floor issues. Iâve parted better. But I like to part a car out unless itâs a rare combination (engine / trans).

Telling a potential bidder that you canât come view the car prior to auction completion is a huge red flag. All the good sellers encourage it or help with arranging a buyerâs inspection.
That car had a ton of red flags. Iâm surprised it sold for what it did.
You can yes but the seller has to allow it. And in the particular case of the other car, seller was not allowing anyone to view the car at all. Made some excuses like âitâs an online auction look at the picturesâ and some other BS along those lines. Definitely not a way to do business.

Yeah, Iâm surprised as well! The fact that if this guy (seller/broker) knew that the owners were going to be out of town during the duration of the auction, he shouldâve made arrangements to be able to show people the car while the owners were gone. Itâs like putting a car up for sale on Facebook marketplace and then leaving on vacation the next day and being flooded with people contacting you wanting to come see the car. There was no point to doing it lol
This is BATâs mode- buyers have zero recourse with them. And they allow very little flow of info outside top the actual auction. This car has serious issues. Buyer beware.
16783 seems like a bargain for a 69 vert until you factor in the cost of repairing all that rust.
