1969 Cougar Convertible

I am looking for a 1969 Cougar Convertible in good to excellent condition with either a 351 M code engine or a 390 S code engine for sale. I am located at the Jersey Shore and plan to drive this car in good weather and leave it in the garage during inclement and winter weather.

Good luck w/your search. I’d love to see my '69 'vert (link below) end up back in NJ.

I spent a good portion of many summers @ my Aunt’s house (Avon by the Sea)…used to cruise Ocean Ave in this bad boy back in the mid 80’s. Even got pulled over in Belmar by a bicycle cop, who suggested 195 might be more fun than Ocean Ave, LOL

Good luck with your search. A few on Hemmings if you have not checked them out.

Wow, I had no idea that the yellow one was still out there for sale at the same place and same price as it was more than five years ago.

Saw this today: https://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/cars-for-sale/mercury/cougar-xr7/2216231.html?refer=news

I have seen that car in person Scott. It is as nice in person!!The guy that owns it has a massive car collection! And I’m guessing the cougar is one of the lesser value cars!

Here ya go…

Some pictures from the add;

Sure looks nice…just wish he would have cleaned out and organized the trunk for the pictures. Every bit helps when asking for $38K.

That is a sharp car for $24k. Wondering if it really has a Cleveland.

I like it!
