Here’s a neat parts car I recently bought. A loaded 390 Cougar XR7 with the following options:
Intermittent Wipers
AM/FM Stereo
PS
PDB
Dark Green interior
Great sheet metal (except for quarters, sorry)
The engine, transmission, dash pad, wipers and deck lid have been sold, but the following items are available:
Original radiator
Q-Code/Boss 302 air cleaner with painted lid. Vacuum works.
428 CJ Snorkel
Transmission cross member
Engine mounts
Power steering
Power brakes
Fenders
Doors
Front and rear valence
Hood lip and fender eyebrows
Front and rear bumpers (cores)
Complete front grille
Power vent system
AM/FM radio and speaker wiring (works, no plugs cut)
Front seats
Rear seats
Seat belts
Door panels (cut for factory speakers) excellent condition
All glass (date-coded Carlite)
Lower dash (with A/C vents)
Steering wheel. Horn switch and Mylar strip are shot, but no cracks
Driver quality XR7 steering wheel pad
Just about anything else you see in the pictures
The car is a late 1969 production (July 1969), maybe one of the last before the switch to 1970 models. The deck lid was the 1970 style with the Eliminator holes for the spoiler.
This car was never hit. All the sheet metal is grade B+ or grade A. The doors, hood, fenders, front and rear valence are all grade A or B+. The roof and rear window area are mint, as is the taillight panel (quarters and drop-offs are junk). The front grille is unbroken and complete, grade A condition. All five pieces and the vacuum motor are there.
The best news is that the car is located in Northeast Pennsylvania, usually the home of incredibly rusty sheet metal. But not on this car.
I also have a COMPLETE A/C system including lower dash and all ductwork.
PM for details on prices, but as a guide, I generally get 1/2 to 2/3 of what you see on West Coast Classic Cougar’s website. The big stuff needs to be collected (picked up) as I don’t have lots of time to adequately package large items properly. I can deliver to Carlisle or any of the NE shows for free once paid for.
