Trying to restore a 1969 dash cluster clock but having trouble removing the clock adjust knob. Anyone know how these come off to remove the lense? Thank you for your help.
Typically, like the earlier clocks, you will have to rotate the knob counter clockwise to loosen it,
Pull the knob out, grab the shaft with needle nose pliers and turn the knob counterclockwise.

As sfhess has stated these are often very tight. The challenge is not damaging the shaft and knob too much in the process.
