1969 Firewall clutch rod hole location???

I’m getting ready to get my engine compartment painted and I would like to drill the holes that I will need for my switch over to manual transmission. I am using the conventional linkage with a rollerized Z bar. Does anyone have a good picture of the firewall down low on a manual transmission 1969 Cougar? Is there any obvious place to drill the hole in the firewall that allows for the rod that connects the clutch pedal to the Zbar? What size is the hole? Does anyone have a template for making this modification?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There will be a dimple in the firewall that the factory used to locate its punching tool.
