What is the proper finish for the front fender braces?
This is the piece that attaches between the front bumper bracket and the lower front portion of the fender.
I am going to say satin black. I have mine powder coated for a lasting finish.
Slop gray is the color those brackets were painted in '69.
Does it matter which plant it was produced at ? Seems like gray was the default for Dearborn but San Jose used black ? Vague memories of reading something along those lines …
