For sale is my 1969 Mercury Cougar XR7 with orignial 351 Windsor block. Owned since 2002. In 2003 the engine was rebuilt with Edelbrock 600cfm 4 barrel, cam, intake, new pistons, new bearings, new rings, bored 30 over, etc. Traction bars were added. FMX transmission was rebuilt with level two shift kit. Interior was restored with new carpet, rear seat recovered, new headliner, and the original panel/trim pieces dyed black in 2005. I replaced the iron heads with aluminum GT40 heads in 2009. Car starts and runs. New fuel tank and sender. Hood is off while I am working on the car in my spare time, can be reinstalled in minutes. The front driver fender is dented and will likely need a skin/replacement if you are intending to restore the vehicle. The front right nose corner piece is also dented and will likely need to be replaced if you are looking to do a restoration. The light covers will come down when the car is running and slowly creep open when the car is off. The Sequential blinkers gave out a few years back and will need to be replaced.
The interior is partially taken apart while I am rebuilding the window scissor assembly. There are minor surface rust spots on the body, but nothing significant.
I can send more pictures upon request.
