1969 XR7 351 Convertible for sale

After 28 years I am parting ways with my 1969 XR7 Convertible 351w Automatic it is in very good condition, mechanically , rebuilt engine, transmission, driveshaft, rear end. Runs and drives great. It is 80 % done or so ? Needs interior. It is worn the dash pad has been replaced. The frame and floor boards are great. That’s why I bought it. Paint and body look real nice. I call it a 10 foot paint job. If you look extremely close you can see it’s not perfect. Not sure what it is worth. I saw one sell for $135,000. So I would take that of course !!! Just like all classics I have invested $10,000 of thousands into the car.

Seriously I would think $22,500 ?
Maybe more . With the work that is needed to finish it.

I live in the Denver metro area.

My email is Arvadaautomotive@hotmail.com

I can send photos. Hopefully I can attach some to this post?

Arvada Automotive was my mechanical repair shop for 32 years until I sold it and retired 2 years ago. We did not do body work so … that’s why it didn’t get the 100% restoration. Would love her new home to finish her up… thanks

more pics. also, why not finish the interior. That would probably increase the value

As of August 2025. I have had no interest from any buyers … so it is no longer for sale. I will be investing another several thousand dollars into her to make her even nicer!!! It is a great car !! I will continue to enjoy driving her. Get lots of looks and thumbs up !! Always fun. Hope everyone has as much fun driving thiers !!

Yeah, I need to sell mine… we just had a drought, school fees, council/farm rates, cost of living…bloody blah blah…. Just as I am thinking about life might be easier if I put it on the market… something fails… (currently roof motor is 50/50) I can’t afford to pay anyone to fix it…. So I have to find the time (that I don’t have) …. So I might as well drive her around ‘till-I-gettarountoit! …

Prob is… i enjoy fixing it and driving it around… so I have to wait until something else needs fixing so I can think about not selling it again…

Hi Ken, that’s a surprise! Good looking convertible, if I weren’t already hip-deep in a '65 Mustang restomod (among others) I’d have reached out. Look forward to seeing you cruise around North Denver!
