Looking to replace the old/worn out window weather stripping that attaches to the chrome trim piece on the top of the door. Any quality options out there? Also would be looking for tips on how to remove and replace said weather strip as well. Steel rubber products?
The Repops company is the one that manufactures the correct beltline weatherstrip kits for Cougars. You will have to purchase an eight piece set. It will do both doors and both quarter windows inside and outside. By sure to get the kit for a 1969-1970 XR-7 convertible. It is different than one for a standard convertible or for a hardtop.
