I bought my neighbor’s 1970 Cougar. His mom bought it new, drove it for 55,000 miles then parked it in a row of pine trees where is sat for decades. It settled into the earth and became home to generations of ground hogs. It tore in half when I was gently removing it. I sold everything off except the engine. I opened it up and found it to be beautiful inside. I took the heads (2V) and had them redone for my Torino. I can’t get the block to spin. It does not appear to be internally damaged in any way, just stuck from sitting. The pullies are largely rusted. The date code is 0F26.
