1970 cougar Drivers Brake light help

Drivers side brake light only works on the inboard tail light. no 12v coming thru to the middle or outer taillight bulbs. I can however add a jumper wire from inboard to middle and have two working brake lights with sequential turn signals working perfect. If I add a third jumper to the outer I will get all three working as brake lights, but, the sequential sequence is cancelled and only get a signal turn with all three lights flashing at same time. Passenger is still ok with proper sequential. Reading thru the forums, is it the turn signal switch harness in the column that is worn? Not making contact to allow the 12v passage to the inboard and outboard tail lights. Can anyone confirm and I will order a new switch from West coast. Thanks! Fully restored car with original wiring, with electronic flasher, new brake pedal switch too.

The trouble shooting section here is your friend. Cougars Unlimited LLC Home Page. I think your turn signal switch is going bad.
