I’ve been contacted by a friend asking if I had any interest in a 1970 Cyclone GT that another friend of his is selling. I spoke with the seller to get more information and am waiting for him to send me additional details, but here is what I have so far:
The car is an original 351 Cyclone GT that now has a 428CJ in it. It was also an automatic that’s been converted to 4-speed. The steering has been converted to rack and pinion.
It looks restored as well as customized. The seller told me he has at least $40K in the build. This probably isn’t a car I’d be in the market for right now so I thought I’d let others know in case it is of interest to someone here.
I have some photos in case anyone is interested. The asking price on it is $30K, but if anyone has a good sense of the value of these cars, feel free to chime in. Here are the pictures.
