1970 Houndstooth Cougar

This is my 1970 Deep Gold Metallic Houndstooth Cougar. According to the Marti Report, it was a Stock-Dealer Demonstrator and was shipped to Bowling Green Motor Sales in Bowling Green, Ohio on 5/11/1970. I was sold on 6/26/1970 to a woman named Victoria who owned it for 39 years. In that time, she moved from Ohio over to Seattle, WA. It has one repaint that was done in 2009, when the Crager Super Sport wheels were put on. The Houndstooth top and interior are all original and the car has 85k on an original numbers matching 351 Cleveland 2 bbl.

Nice! Those were really classy Cougars. The hounds tooth still looks great.

Thanks for all of your positive replies. I really appreciate it. Yes, Victoria has found a good home. She won today in the 1970-79 class at the Indian Head Casino Car Show in Warm Springs, Oregon.

Is this beauty for sale?

No, Victoria isn’t for sale. I plan on keeping her forever. She only has 88k on her and still runs perfectly.
