I have a 1970 Mus tang and both my turn signal and emergency lights don’t work. The other nights I had me emergency lights on and when I went to turn them off I had to push the switch off and on several times and then my right turn signal light on the dash light up so I turn the turn signal switch several time and it went out now both don’t work I have replaced all the bulbs and both flashers. The switch was new from a year ago, When checking the power at the flashers I get power on both sides one side is dimmer than the other. If I disconnect the turn signal switch the emergency flasher still has power on both sides with one side dimmer. All of my lights work and brake lights and the horn. I need help
Th Mustang emergency flasher and turn signals are different than the Cougar. It sure sounds like an emergency flasher or turn signal switch issue.
Almost certainly a bad turn signal switch. The rivets over heat and melt the plastic in the emergency flasher area of the switch.
