in need of some help from my Cougar community… i have these open wires exposed not sure what the previous owner did but i need some help where do they go
Wires from 4 pin plug are either for wiper motor or neutral safety switch/backup lights. 3 pin flat plug is your engine gauge feed plug: oil, coil, water temperature. Not enough detail in picture for the others. single plug is typically PRNDL lamp, AC clutch wire, or carb anti-stall line.
Do yourself a favor, download the FREE schematic from WCCC (link below) you can trace the factory wires to where they used to or are supposed to go. Since they are all color coded that’s a big help in descriptions like MidLife said. Also, is there anything NOT working (oil/water temp/ect)
