i am trying to sort out issues with the drivers door switch’s, someone has been inside this car and had glued the back one the switch mount. i have cleaned up the corrosion but was hoping for a picture of the wire locations. i have the Schematic, but its lay out doesn’t the pins as they are on the panel and i cant fine information on the White wire and Ground wire that go into the right side window switch harness. after swapping in new pancake motors, the right rear quarter window wouldn’t work from master switch. it smoked. i bought all new switches and now no windows work correctly and the right front switch smokes.
I recommend you try the 71 diagram, you might find it easier to read and the entire system is on one page.
White & Blue w/black dots - system 12V power
Black - ground, two locations, one on the driver’s door, other is on the A-pillar. There is no separate ground for any other location.
Blue w/black dots and the white wire are spliced together.
All power and ground is routed through the master control panel for all window locations. Power and ground are shunted to each switch location through the buss bars at the top of the unit. Yours have seen some heavy draw. 12V power & ground for the remote switches passes through the lockout switch and then to the remotes.
