Installing new door gasket , seems to be to long , not sure if I should cut and seam at bottom under the pinch track under door .when I secure the ends there is about 3-4 inches of extra length in the material fits nice at both ends ii
I had that problem on mine. Turned out I was stretching it as I installed it. I installed the second one without pulling it tight, and didn’t have that problem. But I bet you could glue the cut ends together under the door without causing any trouble.

Yup , as I layed it in place I worked it back trying to eliminate as much slack as possible . It still is loose with extra material . I think I will cut at bottom near center within the pinch channel and remove a small section for a better fit . Should not have to do that . But it’s pretty straight forward and I don’t see an error in my assessment
