Does anyone have a source for the correct, or closest to correct lug nuts for the one year only 1973 aluminum slotted wheels?
The commonly available ones for the styled steel wheels are way too short. Or can you tell me the length and seat style of the correct lug nut?

Can you post a pic of your wheels ? I’m thinking (link below) you have something similar which has a “dog dish” or similar center so not understanding why you can’t find lug nuts.

If you have the wheel I think you have, it takes a lug nut called (shank with washer) refer to this.

These are an aluminum wheel that was 1973 only for Mustang/Cougar
Here is an image with the Mustang center. The Cougar version had center caps with the Mercury crest like the one on the fuel door.
