2015 TEXAS SHOOTOUT

Are you ready to show off your ride?

Are you ready to go racing?

Then you want to be at the Texas Shootout in Lufkin, Texas April 10-12, 2015.

This event is open to all Ford and Mercury vehicles. Whether you drive a Mustang, Cougar, Marauder, Taurus, Focus or Fiesta it doesn’t matter. Just bring your ride for a weekend of fun.

Event Registration is $30.00 per car and includes one goody bag and raffle ticket

Entry fee to Pine Valley is $10.00 per person for spectators

Entry Fee for Racers is $25 ($10.00 entry plus $15 tech fee)

Car Show prep and judging (categories to be determined)

Rates: $83.00 per night plus taxes (those arriving Thursday are eligible for the group rate)
Rooms: King or 2 Queens
Microwave/Mini-fridge

Reserve early to guarantee your choice of room type.

You will be required to provide a credit card number to reserve your room. Your credit card will not be charged until your stay.

Guarantee Policy
Your room will be held until 7:00 AM the morning following your scheduled arrival date. If you do not arrive and do not cancel your reservation by the cancellation deadline, your credit card will be charged 1 night’s stay plus tax.

Cancellation Deadline: If you need to change or cancel this reservation, you may do so up until Friday, April 10, 2015, before 4pm local hotel time. The reservation cannot be cancelled through email.

Rooms must be reserved by March 20, 2015. Non-booked rooms will be returned to the hotel for their use.

If you have any problems with your hotel reservation, ask for Shelby. If that doesn’t work contact me.

Guys, is this sufficiently interesting to the members here to allow it? Since it is an all Ford event, I am leaning toward leaving it here but let me know your thoughts about this.

Thanks for the input. I want to do things here the way that the members think is best. It is hard to know exactly what that means.

Looks like SPAM to me. Guy signs up only to try and sell his show.

I’m not offended by it. It’s in the correct sub-forum, related to the hobby, and doesn’t appear to be a robot. I think it’s on the acceptable side of the gray line.

I guess it’s ok. It does reference the proper type of “Cougar” so it might not be the traditional type spam.

Sorry guys. I received no notification of new posts. It’s not spam.

We’ve been running Mustang Bullitt events for 12 years. We’ve chosen to make this event, and our other events, an open event for all Ford, Mercury, and Lincoln vehicles. No offense intended by using Ford only as a reference.

If anyone is interested please feel free to ask questions and come on out for a great weekend.

It’s getting close. We need to get everyone registered soon for planning.

if you wish to order shirts, you’ll need to pre-purchase by Friday March 20th. We will not have shirts for sales at the event.

Just a reminder, our events are to raise money for children’s charities. Our two events last year enabled us to sponsor a child with Make-a-Wish and donate $800 to Juvenile Diabetes Research.
