Is the show open to non-members of CCOA and the regional clubs?
Absolutely! Open to anyone who would like to attend.
BTW, show registration isn’t open yet but you can reserve your room. We have a block of discounted rooms. We are working out a few kinks - show registration will be up and running soon.
Registration is open so reserve a room before our discounted block is filled up.

You can always cancel as late as 48 hours before the show. We are planning some unique show swag. Something in particular I’m excited about is a custom Cougar brew that The Ruddy Duck Brewery is cooking up especially for us. The Ruddy Duck is located next to the host Hotel and we will also have a party with live music there on Friday night! It’s gonna be a wang-dang-doodle!!
Tomorrow is the first day of summer - can fall be far behind?
Looking forward to the show. Two questions… which Cougar should I take? Or, how do I bring multiple Cougars?
The more the better Mark! But honestly, just whatever is easiest on you. I know you have to come a long way.
Look into getting on 13 to 301 as soon as you get over the Delaware Memorial Bridge. You skirt Baltimore and DC that way. Solomons MD is not far off of 301.
Looking forward to seeing as many of the Carlisle Gang as possible.
Oh, and we will have a non-Cougar class - so your Mercury wagon is welcome if you want to use that as a tow vehicle.
I will see you there in October. If anyone is looking to caravan from the southern NJ area please contact me. I will likely meet up with club members coming from northern NJ at some point in southern NJ.

Update on our Oct. 6-7 CCOA regional show, near Solomons Island, Md. First, we’ve added an “All Ford and Ford-Powered” class to this people’s choice show. So, even if you’re without Cougar, you can participate! Also, we announced the end of early-bird registration rates on Aug. 11. The show rate will go up 15% (from $65 to $75) on Aug. 12. So, now’s the time to register and save.
If you’re planning to attend this show but haven’t yet registered, please do as soon as possible. The better the numbers we have to work with, the easier it will be to plan class parking, banquet seating, etc. Help us out and get those registrations in now! Thanks.
Excited to report that with nearly two months to go, we’ve passed the 50-car mark for our Oct. 6-7 anniversary show, in Solomons, Md.! Thanks for the great early bird turnout! Don’t miss this CCOA regional event — register at SolomonsCats.com
Attached is the official show logo. I wanted the design to appeal to as many Cougar owners as possible, so instead of featuring any particular year Cougar(s) I created a Cougar head graphic in a hot rod pinstripe style. This design will be large on the back of our show t-shirts, which will be black - with club logos small and on the front. It’s shaping up to be a great show, hope to see a lot of you there!
