In the UK but found a site called 2040-parts.com
Possible parts on there I would be interested in can anyone tell me how it works,contacting etc.
Is it like a Craigslist.Are a lot of the items gone or out of date.
Some items have a price others say bid,but how?
Any help would be appreciated.

Looks extremely sketchy to me. Parts are half of Ebay.
It’s a scam website that puts up old eBay listings passing them off as their own. Avoid…
From my experience it is indeed “sketchy”. Any time I’ve contacted a seller, the parts are no longer available or the seller does not respond.
I would avoid - if anything it exists to ‘mine’ for email addresses, and any other data you might unwittingly divulge.

2040-parts and 2040-cars are not “For Sale” websites. They are a repository / archive of past sale listings, many from eBay.
Consider using them as an archive for determining values / sales history / rarity of parts or vehicles.
