my mechanic ordered the 2v intake instead of the 4v. now i can’t return it

I agree. Not your mistake. If he is unwilling to eat the cost of him not paying attention, then I would also suggest finding another mechanic.
Wherever it was ordered from (without knowing this), I would be VERY surprised if it could not be returned and the right one ordered instead. Maybe it would mean some shipping costs would be eaten but it should be an option.
What kind of intake?
