Looks like a pretty good price.
Will probably go with something like that, when I get around to working on it.
Good choice on the aftermarket heads.
I’ve had a set of Aussie heads in my shed that I occasionally take off the shelf to continue smoothing the ports and combustion chambers. I had planned to build a Boss 400 for my truck, but the stock, open chamber, 2V Cleveland heads haven’t hit their flow limits yet with zero mods done to them.
I had also thrown around the Boss 302 build for the Cougar with those heads but the 340HP crate engine from Ford Racing with a warranty is too tempting to pass up for under $4000
