I collected a lot of parts from various sources for a 1968 Cougar project, but have sold the car and moved on to a 944 project (both are dream cars).
I was building it as a Cougar 302 GT, but found out after the purchase that there was body rust that I did not want to deal with.
The car was a 1968 base model with a 302 4V, AT, PDB, AC, and a few other smaller options.
Sources are primarily Rockauto, WCCC, Scott Drake, Mustangs Unlimited, and ebay.
I’m not showing asking prices for the Cougar community on this board.
Make a reasonable offer and I’ll make a deal. Shipping is additional at cost.
Anything not sold here by early June 2022 will go to ebay or CL. Location is Irvine, CA.
Here are the big items (all are NEW):
- Dual Exhaust System, complete from manifolds
- Radiator, HD, 3 Row, 24", OEM style. FVP RAD338
- Dash Pad, Blue, Version 1
I also have these original parts:
- 4V intake (with data tag)
- Two 4V carbs (cleaned and apart)
- Chromed “Power by Ford” Valve Covers
- Original 4V Air Cleaner with chromed lid, new 4V Mercury sticker, and working snorkel valve.
- Cougar GT fender emblems, good used
- Cougar SS wheels and Caps SOLD
