67 cougar lower control arms

So on my 67 cougar, I would like to keep the stock lower control arms. They need new lower ball joints. I cannot find any lower ball joints anywhere. Does anyone know where I can purchase 2 ? Thanks in advance !

We will have premium grade 1967 Cougar specific lower control arms on our website for sale soon at a very reasonable price

Awesome! Thanks for the response. I will be looking forward to those. 67 mustang will not work correct?

Won’t fit. Different hole pattern and part number. The 1967 Mustang / Fairlane / Comet part for 1967 is a C7OZ. Cougar lower control arm is specific, only fits the 1967 Cougar and is C7WY part number.

Thanks for the info. You saved me money

The lower ball joints typically don’t wear out. Often folks misdiagnose them as being worn out when in fact they only need to replace the rubber boots. Check the shop manual for the specifications. Boots are available from any place that sells reproduction parts - like WCCC for example.

The lower control arm inner bushings often fail and are easy to replace and cheap.

Well maybe I’ll just buy 2 dust boots and the bushings for the control arms. There are 2 different sizes for the bushings on the lower control arms correct ? Any idea what size for a 67 Standard ? I appreciate all the help!
