67 Cougar on stilts! Hi-Riders 70's TV show

I was impressed how well he was able to keep the car upright! They do not portray Cougar owners to be very sophisticated in this clip…

The door jam looks like it was originally Saxon yellow. Looks like every cool car that was in my high school parking lot. Shackle kit, air shocks and wide meats on the back.

during the clip I expected the same outcome as in this Thunderbolt and Light-foot clip.

i was half expecting that cougar just to roll over on some of those corners.

LOL
here’s mine

Hi Riders was actually a low budget movie. A really bad one. Back then they didn’t have DVD’s so I guess it was straight to Betamax after opening weekend flopped…

I liked the Firebird AND the Cougar. (Probably because I’ve owned both)

He needs to fix his headlight doors  and get some Keystone classics.
Never saw that second movie. What’s up with all the New Zealand white rabbits in the trunk of the car in the second clip? I use to raise those and show them when I was a kid.

My high school too. My rusty, beat-up 67 Standard was one of them…once I got all the air line leaks fixed.

Those lines were *&%$&^&( plastic, and tended to melt where they went around the exhaust area (if you put the valve in the trunk…). then: major “wheel eating fender” problems
60psi was a great ride, 70psi was dangerous if accelerating while going over a railroad crossing

Classic!

He has the correct sponsor, Castrol - they sponsored Gurney’s Trans-Am Cougar.

There is also a blue '69(?) parked with the other cars in that town they end up in.
