I was wonder if you guys can point me in the right direction. I have the 67 turn signal lever for cruise control as pictured on WCCC website below. The button on mine just wants to fall out and doesn’t appear to be spring loaded like I would assume it to be. Obviously it must be missing a spring and some kind of stopper to prevent it from popping out the end. Do any of you know where I can find a picture of this part disassembled to see what I’m missing? Or do you know what and where I can find the pieces I need to make it function correctly?

Yep that would be it, thanks! I’m missing the spring and retainer ring. Spring is easy, retainer ring I’ll make something.
I also have a cruise turn signal lever from a 67 Galaxie that has the resume piece on the shaft but missing the black button and it’s retainer. Any idea where I might find one of those? The one from the Cougar is a different button but similar design.
Going by this article it appears I have some of the 67 cruise control pieces. Question, is the on/off switch on the far left that they say is for 67 Mustang also used on 67 Cougar? That appears to be the one I have for my 67 Cougar. Is the 68 Cougar the only different one?
I also seem to have the 67 mustang cruise turn signal lever with resume feature and some how have a 68 and up version in my stuff as well. Should I assume the 67 Mustang version with resume cam is correct for 67 Cougar as well?
All this stuff was with the car but some removed from and in the trunk it when I found it so I have no reference.

Edit, I should have looked in my 67 shop manual before posting, lol. It would appear the on/off switch is the same but the cruise turn cam with resume was 67 Mustang only, at least in the shop manual it appears that way.
You don’t happen to have a breakdown picture of the ones used on 67 Mustangs and Galaxies by chance?
