'67 deluxe seat belts - red

My seat belts have aged to the point where they are horribly inflexible and nearly impossible to adjust. Any good sources for good used belts? Have checked WCCC’s website but found nothing.

Dan

We do not have our used belts on there. It is a good idea to call us whenever you cannot find used parts on our site. But before you spend your hard earned cash on an expensive set of belts with less than perfect webbing, go get a quote from http://www.pythonrestorations.com They can reweb what you have without restoring your chrome, retractors and hdw.

Fixed typo!

Wow those look nice.

Adam’s link works, but Don’s has a typo.

How long does it take these guys to respond? I sent them an email on Tuesday morning and have yet to hear back from them.

I don’t recall python being around when I had my belts restored. I used ssnake-oyl. It was really spendy over a decade ago so it probably still is. The job they did was fabulous however.

I’ve been to the ssnake-oyl site before. The thing that prevented me from going for it was the need to send in my old belts ir order to get a quote. I see they have a set of restored '65 Mustang belts for $449. Whoa! If you don’t mind my asking, what’s your definition of “really spendy”?

Anyone have just a plain ol’ set of red rear belts for a '67 (I think I’ve had a rear set passenger maybe once or twice in the nearly nine years I’ve owned the car!)?

Ok, you made me go look back and look in my paperwork , I try to keep everything related to the car. It was $366.80 for everything and that was back in November of 1997. They restored the belts, buckles, boots, chrome, webbing, retractors, even the labels - everything front and back. I call that spendy. If you’re not interested too much in originality why not look at something like this?

I would prefer to keep things as original on the inside. I also would prefer having the retractors in place. I pretty much dismantled the interior last spring and it stayed that way all summer. I’ve picked up a used dash wiring harness ($85 - to replace the rat’s nest wiring left by the PO) and console ($150 - a beauty scored on eBay from a guy who didn’t know what a valuable piece he had!), so the goal is to get this done as soon as the snow is melted and the spring rains have rid the local roads of the annual winter salt bath.

Got word back from Python - $95 per set (per seat) to restore the deluxe belts. Additional $6 for the date code tags.
Thanks to all for the tips and info!
