Hello. I have a 67 and had upgraded the headlights to the cat eyes electric doors and h4 headlight system a couple years ago. It has worked great until recently. My left Low beam will not work.
If i hit the hi beams, everthing works. I have swapped bulbs, etc, nothing fixes the issue.
Is it possible for a bad switch to affect only 1 lowbeam light?

Although, going off the diagram in the manual, I’d say no the dimmer switch on the floor controls both sides at the same time. Or at least should…
One wire for the low and another wire for the high. They both split at the driver side front headlight connector to go to the passenger side headlight.

My educated guess would be wire or more likely a connection in the wiring somewhere. Trouble shooting that stuff is frustrating!!!
thank you for the replies. I have been chasing this thing like crazy. I cannot find a broken wire. The harnes is very clean. I was thinking the in-dash light switch. Frustrating for sure.
If you are using a dc voltage tester of some kind, try starting at the light socket and work your way back. Patience usually prevails, good luck

Good afternoon everyone. Got a new motor back into the 67.
Never got the headlights figured out.
Pulled the switch today, hit hi beams, both headlights on left work, nothing on right. Once i kick off the hi beams, only outside headlight of right side works. nothing else.
Going to try and source an original high beam switch and original headlight switch and start from there.
Unlikely due to a bad switch given they are serially connected and common to both sides.
As 67-289xr7 correctly pointed out, for factory wiring, the output from the dimmer switch is two single wires (high and low beam power) that arrive at a 3-pin connector (3rd wire is GND) located between the driver side light box and the core support. They split off there (from harness connector side) and head over to the passenger side with like connector plug.
You mentioned a headlight mod so the assumption is you now have relays that switch fused battery power to the higher current loads (the upgraded headlights). If you do, the high and low beam power wires mentioned above will operate them (power the coils).
I’d 1st work back from the headlight connections and figure out if harness is factory or modified.
