Can anyone tell me what the factory finish is on the two horns on a ‘67 base model? Were they painted black or unpainted or? From what I’m seeing (paint chipping off easily, appearance of metal under paint) it seems like these horns do not want to have paint on them. TIA!
The horns along with some other parts were dipped in a vat/tub/bucket full of black paint, then hung to drip dry.
