'67 w/'69 Front end?

Bet this looks interesting:

Interesting is how I would describe that listing. Maybe it’s a typo, if not I would like to see pictures of that one. :buck:

I just sent an email to see if he’s willing to send a picture. Will post if he replies. I’m curious ha.

FWIW, I cannot see 69 fenders lining up in the least with 67 doors.

I was thinking the same thing. and how the center of the hood lines up with the center of the 69 grill. Cougar might have an over bite LOL!
Still waiting on a picture.

Unless he switch all that out also. I was thinking of only the grille. Whole front end is a different story. still weird with the fenders though.

too much Christmas cheer?

My guess is typo, hitting the ‘9’ instead of the ‘8’. Can’t even picture a '69 front on a '67…

67 and 68 both have the same front end, why even mention it if that is the case?

That’s nothing, here’s a '70 XR-7 with a “96 Mustang front end”:

Of course, this guy apparently just means suspension components, not sheet metal. No idea what the guy in the original ad is trying to say.

I know this was posted before…I think. It’s a classic Cougar with a different front end and everything else. So I guess a 69 front end could be put on a 67 if you really want to. :buck:

When I read rolling chassie I think about a car without front fenders, hood and such. From what is written in the ad I believe the car has the inner fenders and shock towers from a 69. Putting the stronger 69 shock tower on a 67/68 makes kind of sense since they are stronger. Oh well, at least that is what I would have expected to see if I had went to look at the car
