Starting on the grill, I guess I’m going to paint the sides silver, it’s a shame to paint the chrome, but all that chrome would be to much I think, About like rocker moldings on a 68 , looks better with out them imo.

Nice job. Makes me want to get my set done that I’ve been putting off for 4 years or so.
Nice work! Thats top notch detail paint work right there
Nice job! That stuff is a lot of work… so much masking! I opted to leave the sides chrome on my grille since I got nice rechromed bars. But even doing the black paint on the horizontal sections took a long time.
These cars and there features are gorgeous.
Beautiful Randy! Can’t wait to see the whole car. Someday I’m hoping for a G or even a GTE
Thanks, if I hadn’t have gotten the car almost 20 years ago and collected a lot of parts over time that I traded to wccc for store credit of about 3500.00 so far I probably wouldn’t be doing one,I do prefer the G the GTE doesn’t have specialty items that the G has, although that 427 gets my blood pumping so I’m putting one in it.
Great job!!! Would you mind posting a pic of the back of the headlight door that has the G emblem connected to it? Nee it for reference.
Thaks
Finally got a few minutes to put the head lights together using Don’s bump stops, they really do work well, finished up the buckets as well .
