I’ve only seen these locks one other time? And the title with you drive it, was mustang rent a racer and cougar you drive it?
From the outline of where the hood scoop was and I can’t really tell but it looks like a sunroof car as well. Both things that xr7-g’s are known for.
It is a hertz G but the hood locks are a key not a pin and I’ve haven’t seen any discussion on this type ,just curious.
You need to find that poor kitty a place indoors. Remember when your cold they’re cold.
I don’t believe those style hood locks were original equipment on XR7-Gs.

Those hood locks were often sold in auto part stores in the 1970’s. Not original type.
That car needs to be inside, not outside.
No place for it at the moment,it has been under cover until just recently until Mother Nature’s wind decided to remove its hut and it is on a tarp ,believe me that Florida salt air has done way more damage than the snow is going to do
