Looking for some good ideas on a rear spoiler for my 68 XR-7. I know 68 didn’t originally come with rear spoilers and I’m not sure if I like the look of the 69 or 70 Eliminator spoilers. This guy used a Trans Am spoiler and it kinda fits the top of the body line plane. I think it looks nice .

Didn’t the original run of TransAm cars have a rear spoiler??? Those would cover the 7s and the 8s.

The Bud Moore Engineering Trans-Am Cougars did not have rear spoilers. A chin spoiler was added to some of the '67/'68 bodied Cougars that competed in the NASCAR Grand Touring/Grand American series in later years.
A molded in fiberglass rear spoiler was contemplated in '68, probably as part of the XR7-G package but ultimately the idea was dropped. Here is a photo of one mocked up.
