Can I install a 68 collapsible steering column in a 67? Will the 68 upper column mount fit in a 67?
Thanks in advance,
Mike Tuck

It all bolts in. You have to use the '68 column mounts and change the electrical connector to '68 style.
You’ll need a steering wheel designed for a ‘68. The ‘67 wheel won’t fit.
Well that sucks…don’t like the 68 steering wheel. Maybe go aftermarket with the GT Performance Steering wheel.
Thanks
Mike
So if I get the 68 column to dash bracket it will bolt into the 67?
That and the plastic connector shell for the turn signal / emergency flasher / horn wiring.

Perfect…thanks for the help!
The 67 wheel will fit. It will have a space between the base of the wheel & the column. I put a 68 tilt in the wife’s 67. Used a plastic cover from a can of peanuts as a bezel… Someone here did this & showed how… just don’t know where the thread is…
