Need help to understand difference between a black vinyl roof and a black oxford roof. Where there different types in 1968?

I believe the Oxford was painted and not vinyl.
The Deluxe Marti Report I have for my '67 GT states “Ivory Oxford Roof” on the window sticker replica, then goes on to indicate an “Ivory (late style) Vinyl Roof” on the Marti Report sheet itself. Couldn’t say either way myself as the roof was resprayed silver long ago…
I believe that Oxford was the vinyl material and Levant was the grain pattern. The window sticker would have carried the marketing name for the vinyl roof option while the Marti Report might be a more generic descriptor. I think both are referring to the same thing. If the roof had been painted, it would probably show as a 2-tone on the Marti Report and be reflected in the door data plate codes. I don’t have my books here at work, though, so I could be misremembering that.
