Nice looking Cougar. Would like to see the photo gallery before going to BaT if possible.
The owner isn’t helping his cause trying to sell that Cougar in a video. I don’t know how many times he says how the Cougar is “all original” oohh except I rebuilt the engine, rebuilt the transmission, repainted & replaced the fender and painted the doors, recovered the seats. Nice survivor car but it doesn’t need to be pitched as all original.
Go easy on him. I coached him on how to do a proper BaT ad and he has 120 quality photos that tell the story, he is at cougarpolecat(at)gmail.com. Most people will not do a video and when they do it is a quick shakey phone video. The car came from my area and when Robin came out to buy the car (over a decade ago) he stopped at our shop. Robin is an accomplished restorer and collector of Cougars, he did his own 68 convertible conversion and did a rotisserie on his GTE including doing the paint himself. I have known him for may years and he is a very honest seller.
This is a nice looking Cougar. I think the video is honest and well done. I’m sure it will sell quickly.
