I think I’ve found the problem I’m having getting my drivers side glass to move forward enough to stop the back of it chipping the front edge of the 1/4 glasss. It’s bigger than the passenger side (about 12mm) and so I suspect (after watching Dons video) it’s been replaced with glass from a 70 which is longer!
I’ve no other cars to compare it to, so I suspect it’s glue in glass from an early 70 but it’s definitely longer,
What can I do?
A) live with it
B) order a 70 1/4 convertible glass which is presumably shorter
C) get a new 69 glass
D) adjust the 1/4 glass back a few mm, if it can be - I don’t want to start dismantling trim if it can’t!
Obviously I’m worried about shipping across the Atlantic and then the hassle of fitting.ing it, so I am veering towards A]

Convert glass is different than hardtops. Bottom rear corner is cut for clearance. I might suggest getting the vertical W/X strip for 69 (Dr) on one side(Pass) 70 on the other. No W/X on the Pass door just the Qtr glass unlike the other side.
The 69 glue in glass is 42 1/8 inches long and the 70 glue in glass is 42 7/8 inches long. This was measured at the longest place on the glass which will be below the metal of the door. I measured it with the glass out of the door. Another option would be to see if a local glass shop can supply you with a door glass, it is the same as a Mustang.
