69-70 tailight/extension housing question

guys i am going to be doing the assembly work on my cougar in 2 seperate locations. the back body will be painted where it sits . all other panels, doors, hood , fenders, extensions, deck lid, are going to be painted at my friends shop . the question is if i were to install the taillamps will the extensions clear then when i go to put them on?

any input is good, justin

Hi Justin,

Yes, the extension housings will clear putting them on after the taillights are installed.
