Nice driver that gets lots of compliments. Fits right in at your local cruise night.
This car is laser straight with no rust, no bondo, no patch panels, all FoMoCo metal! The floors frame and body are all solid. Over the past 2 years it has been gone mostly through. Runs and drives. This is a PS/AC car, missing the compressor. I still have the XR7 badges, but I like the look without so they’re not on right now. The mounting points can be felt through the top. Still has the original 9" rear. The following areas are new or rebuilt:
Candy Apple Red paint
Black vinyl top
Black bucket seat interior with console (sill plates, sail panels, headliner, carpet, seat belts, seats, door panels, arm rests, window cranks, dash, console, replaced 1 floor plan and rust coated the floor) Kick panel, speaker/grill and console aren’t in the car right now but are included any may be installed this weekend.
Gauge cluster
Tires
Misc. mechanical bits to get up and running nicely (synthetic fluids, solenoid, carb & gasket, cap/rotor, etc.)
It needs a few things to be excellent, namely some interior trim and fixing a power steering leak.
I have receipts for the things I’ve done, the rest was done just prior to my purchase. Email serbaped0@gmail.com or PM me with any questions. Located in Colorado
Couple of observations, never saw a clock like that one in that position, different than the XR7 clock. And, never saw a PS pump mounted like yours is, way up high.
Thanks for the compliments! I’m not sure if this is the original motor, which could explain the PS pump. As far as I can tell there were a number of 69 XR7s with a clock in this position. I know the 68s were different. Where is the clock located on yours (which is nice btw)?
Is that one of those dash pad overlays? The pad looks odd to me in the AC vent area. I am not trying to nit pick your car, just happened to notice this and was wondering.
